My dear friend Diane Calvert, was a lovely, kind, caring person. She had the sweetest smile and most gracious personality. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. I hold her in treasured memory.

Diane's passing due to Post Natal Depression in 1977, as a young mother of an infant son, was so very sad!

We had a strong friendship. I loved her goodness, sense of humor, sensitivity, and loyalty.

She was a real gem!

As the decades pass, I miss her even more!

Diane suggested I look at Park College in the Kansas City area. She evidently did a good job in her descriptions because I graduated from Park, and still live in the Kansas City area. She was a friend through High School and College. I was saddened to her of her passing. Lee Biard

Gloria said so well, Diane was  a GREAT friend,so happy all he time, someone you could always depend on. I will never forget when her husband wrote to tell me the sad news. She left this world much  much to soon.   May she rest in peace. Lynne

Hello, I am Diane Calvert's younger sister..I happened across your website and saw the nice tribute page and comments from her friends. I moved away from Park Forest shortly after Diane graduated and over the years lost touch with everyone from Illinois. I wonder if you would be willing to post a note on her site that I saw the tributes and really appreciate it? I'm so glad people have not forgotten her even though she has been gone so long. I remember tagging along with Diane and Gloria Lisanti, Barbara Babin, etc on some of their fun outings! (I was no doubt the bothersome younger sister) FYI, I'm happily married, living and working in North Carolina. Thank you! Debbie (Calvert) Hellmann

Diane and I had some great times and my memory is vivid.  Every summer, we would get a pile of books from the library and read like crazy.  We thought Carol Lynely was the greatest and had pictures of her everywhere.  We played Canasta with a group, but forgot who played?

I miss you Diane and good to read your note Debbie.  Contact me if you wish Debbie.

Sincerely,Barbara Babin Connolly
