Andrea and I worked on our first book together in third grade. Andrea did the illustrations which were quite beautiful in crayon. I provided the writing about a horse who meets adversity and triumps in the end. It was a great experience working together. We went on to write a second book since our first one was so well received. It was about a young girl who guess what, meets adversity and triumphs in the end. I think we then decided to take a break from our literary and art world and rest on our laurels.
