Met Dave in 7th grade. He was an excellent softball player, He Had an outstanding knowledge of the Sauk River and forest preserves around Park Forest. He was a gentle soul who liked Lambretta scotters,hamsters and tape recorders. He was the first person to peak my interest in golf and electronics. After practicing and cadding golf with Dave..I have gotten worse. But electronics has been a different story. I love it and have excelled in all aspects: electronics technician, electronics engineer, Ham radio operator,teacher.
Dave is the only person that I knew who knew at 7th grade knew what he wanted to be..A radio engineer. He attended Purdue in Indiana and became a radio engineer. For those of you who listened to Larry Lujack....Spacy Dave...was Dave Schuessler. I would love to hear from his spouse, Mary or any of his children or friends. drogers127@comcast.net
