Sherry was a vivacious and wonderful person, I remember when I first met her in my Freshman year I thought she was a very pretty girl, we became friends and a little better than friends, I consider her my girlfriend and she considered me her boyfriend, that didn't last long but we still stayed good friends, to hear of her passing really hit me hard, we will hear of more High School friends that will pass, that's life, I will always think of Sherry, and Sherry may God bless you and I hope to see you again some day, Rest In Peace dear Sherry

When I read Sherry’s obituary I was overwhelmed. She certainly dedicated her life to her fellow man. I agree completely with those who have said what a positive and happy person Sherry was. We have lost a good person.

I was stunned to read that Sherry had died. I remember our high school days when she would flash that great smile and laugh out loud. She was really something. Years later Sherry ran the “Home Office” of a very prominent Illinois State Senator. I was the assistant to the Governor and Sherry and I did some really good legislative work together. She was the best! Smart, efficient and very effective. We emailed around birthdays and talked about getting together in SC where I also have a home. Sadly we never did. Sherry is the very first person I have know who has  succumbed to the virus. My heart goes out to Nick...a really terrific guy, and to  Sherry’s entire family. She will be greatly missed. May she Rest In Peace.
